Market Roundup – May 4

Is it May already?  The weather certainly didn’t think so at the Market this week.  Nonetheless, the vendors were out in full force with tons of goods and the Market was bustling with eager crowds.  Strawberries were more available this week and some new spring vegetables were around as well, including spring onions, baby carrots (see pictures below), and radishes.  There were also some new and creative crafts available, including duct tape hairbands and repurposed grocery bags made out of burlap feed sacks.

With rain early this week and sun the second half (hopefully), we should be primed for another great Market next week.  It will also be a great time to pick up some beautiful Mother’s Day gifts before Sunday!
